We are just 38 signatures short of our target. We need at least 100 signatures to be able to use it to put pressure on Dairy NZ, Beef and Lamb and Federated Farmers to stop selling NZ farmers out and agreeing to an inequitable farm emission pricing system.
I know you have probably done your bit and signed it but please send this on to all your contacts and get them to sign.
Organizations which purport to represent farmers have agreed to implement a Government emission pricing scheme called He Waka Eke Noa
“He Waka Eke Noa” stands for “It’s a Free Ride”,
But it will be everything but a free ride I can assure you. It will be a scientifically unjustified financial rort on your business. If they want to tax your emissions it must be science based, equitable and justified. Our petition makes demands to ensure it is. Please support it.
Very soon your so called industry representatives will be presenting you with an inequitable, unjustified and non science based proposal. We need to get our petition to them first. Time is of the essence.
